CARBON NANOTUBE COMPOSITE AND PREPARATION METHOD OF THE SAME

PURPOSE: A carbon nanotube composite and a method of manufacture thereof are provided to fix metal nanoparticles to the carbon nanotube by uniting a specific functional group with a carbon nanotube surface. CONSTITUTION: The carbon nanotube composite has a carbon nanotube surface which is combined in at least one functional group of the chemical formula 1. In the chemical formula 1, N is a whole number of 1-10. R1 and R6 is an alkyl of the hydrogen or the carbon number 1-3, respectively and independently. R2, R3, R4 and R5 are an alkyl or a phenyl of the hydrogen or the carbon number 1-3, respectively and independently. The carbon nanotube composite includes metal nanoparticles more. The manufacturing method of the carbon nanotube composite includes following steps.(i) An acyl halide group is introduced to the carbon nanotube surface.(ii) The acyl halide group is reacted with polysiloxane with 'an amine radical'. The carbon nanotube composite is formed in which the polysiloxane in the surface is combined by a medium of 'an amide group'.
