PURPOSE: A sliding bearing and a sliding bearing assembly are provided to prevent the cut off or lack of a lubricant film and reduce contact pressure on a sliding surface. CONSTITUTION: A sliding bearing(100) comprises an inner peripheral surface(110) and an outer peripheral surface(150). The sliding bearing is used at a surface pressure of 100~1000 kg/cm^2. A lubricant storage part(120) is formed in the inner and outer peripheral surfaces at an area ratio of 15~60%.
