PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method of verification and a recording medium storing a program for the same are provided to prevent the unauthorized usage of the authentication information by effectively inspecting the validity of the authentication information based on the peripheral device information. CONSTITUTION: A communications unit(104b) communicates with the peripheral device and the service server. A controller(104a) receives the information of the peripheral device and registers the information of one peripheral device as an authentication information. When a user authentication information is inputted thorough the service menu screen, the controller uses the authentication information and processes the validity of the authentication information. The controller transmits the user authentication information of which the validity of the authentication information is terminated to the service server. A verification part(104d) verifies the validity of the user authentication information by comparing the authentication information with the peripheral device information.
