SOLAR CELL AND METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A solar cell is provided to improve the productivity and the operational efficiency of the solar cell by simultaneously embedding insulating material into a plurality of trenches and etching the trenches to form a plurality of sidewall insulating layers. CONSTITUTION: A unit solar cell region is arranged on a substrate(100) and is composed of a unit cell region and a wiring region. A lower electrode(200a) is formed on the unit cell region. A photoelectric element part(300a) is formed on a lower electrode. An upper electrode(400a) is formed on the photoelectric element part. A lower connecting electrode is formed on the wiring region and is in connection with one side of the lower electrode. A wiring layer(600) electrically connects the lateral side of the lower connecting electrode and the upper electrode.
