PURPOSE: A method for connecting thermal shrinkable pipes for sealing is provided to seal the connection part of pipes without leakage and reduce manufacturing costs by minimizing manufacturing processes. CONSTITUTION: A method for connecting thermal shrinkable pipes for sealing comprises following steps. Double steel pipes(10) inserted into a double heat-retaining pipe(20) are weld(S1). A thermal shrinkable pipe(50) is prepared and is manufactured by winding a thermal shrinkable sheet(30) in a mandrel with several folds. A sealing butyl mastic tape(40) is wound around the end of both double heat-retaining pipes(S3). The thermal shrinkable pipe is installed in the sealing butyl mastic tape where both ends of outer polyester of a joint unit and dual insulated pipes. The heat is applied to both ends of the thermal shrinkable pipe. |
