PURPOSE: A hot water supply apparatus in a refrigerator is provided to heat water using heat wasted when the refrigerator is used and use the heated water in a kitchen. CONSTITUTION: A hot water supply apparatus in a refrigerator comprises a water tank(200), an intake pipe(310), a discharge pipe(320), a circulating pump, and a drain valve(500). The water tank is installed in the upper part of the refrigerator. Cold water stored in the water tank is heated while circulated a heat exchanger(300). One end of the inlet pipe is connected to the bottom of the heat exchanger and the other end is connected to the water tank. Water flowing in the heat exchanger flows into the water tank through the inlet pipe. One end of the discharge pipe is connected to the top end of the heat exchanger and the other end is connected to the water tank. Water stored in the water tank moves through the discharge pipe to the heat exchanger. The circulation pump pumps the water flowing inside the heat exchanger to circulate the water to the water tank, the discharge pipe, the heat exchanger and the inlet pipe. The drain valve is connected to the discharge pipe and discharges hot water according to user's choice. |
