PURPOSE: A screw clamp for supporting section steel is provided to simply support section steel for a ship frame, which is welded to a base plate, with a supporting unit coupled to a clamp body. CONSTITUTION: A screw clamp for supporting section steel comprises a body(10), a screw member(20), and a supporting unit(30). The body is formed with an opening(11) on one side and a clamping part(12) on the other and coupled with a jaw member(13) on the bottom of the opening. The screw member is coupled to the top screw hole of the opening and fitted with a handle(21) on an end protruding outside. The supporting unit is fixed to the body while supporting a side of section steel. The supporting unit comprises a screw pipe(31) formed with a ratchet gear and female threads, a first screw rod which is coupled to a side of the screw pipe and fixed to the body, a second screw rod which is coupled to the other side of the screw pipe and formed with a support part supporting section steel, an operating handle(34) which is formed with a receiving part for receiving the ratchet gear and attached to the screw pipe, and a ratchet plate which is hinged in the receiving part and selectively meshed with the ratchet gear to convert the direction of torque.
