FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemical engineering of organosilicon compounds. Disclosed are novel polyphenyldimethyl siloxane binding substances of general formula [C6H5SiO1,5]n[(CH3)2SiO]m[CH3SiO1,5]k , where n, m and k are molar fractions of links, the sum of which is equal to 1, and the values are in the following ranges: n and m from 0.05-0.95; k from 0 to 0.95. Disclosed also is synthesis method thereof via polycondensation in an active medium of a mixture of organoalkoxysilanes: C6H5Si(OR)3; (CH3)2Si(OR)2; CH3Si(OR)3, where R denotes a C1-C4 alkyl group, taken in molar ratios corresponding to ratios of said values for n, m and k. The active medium is anhydrous acetic acid or mixture of anhydrous acetic acid and an organic solvent. ^ EFFECT: obtaining novel polymethylphenylsiloxane binding substances with uniform composition and no content of residual alkoxyl groups, as well as a practically feasible synthesis method. ^ 12 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl, 5 ex |
