FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to device and method of shaping long articles. Invention may be used to make knots and other closed geometrical structure on fish line of wire. Proposed device comprises channel, outlet chamber and opening. Said channel serves to direct article inside device. Outlet chamber is confined by structural elements. Opening serves to withdraw elongated article from shaping device. Opening is made all along its length to allow transfer of article from channel to outlet chamber.
