FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine and is intended for determination of volume of intraosteally introduced medicine during anaesthetisation of teeth on lower and upper jaws. Volume dental tomography is carried out. On obtained images of axial projection defined are sizes of inter-root space, anaesthetised zone on two levels: in area of upper part of interdental septum determined is area (S1), limited by roots of adjoining teeth and compact plate of jaw body, and inter-root space on the level of root tops determined is area (S2), limited by roots of adjoining teeth and cortical plate of jaw body. On images in frontal projection defined is height from upper part of interdental septum to tooth root top (H). After that determined is volume (V) of bone tissue in anaesthetised area by formula: . Volume of introduced medication is estimated by division of obtained volume of bone tissue by two. ^ EFFECT: method makes it possible to determine volume of introduced anaesthetising solution during intraosteal anaesthetisation taking into account individual anatomical characteristics and desired area of anaesthetisation. ^ 15 dwg, 4 ex |
