FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and may be used various industries. First initial billet is place in container intake section. Intermediate taper billet is produced by extruding material by means of punch at container taper center. Second initial billet is placed on said intermediate taper billet for punch to be use to form said article finally. Material of said intermediate taper billet is extruded through gauge collar of container third section. Inner and outer punches fitted one into another are used. First, inner and outer punches are used simultaneously to act on billet to fill container taper center part height partially with billet material. Then, bores are pierced by inner punch with outer punch being fixed. Thus, intermediate taper billet is produced with height equal to that of finished article. Through or dead taper hole is produced by inner cylindrical punch or cylindrical hole is produced by inner taper punch in said intermediate billet. ^ EFFECT: material savings, simplified process, higher quality of finished articles. ^ 7 cl, 5 dwg |
