A process for the preparation of hydrogen from solid carbonaceous material comprises gasification of solid carbonaceous material with the use of lime for absorption of carbon dioxide. The process comprises the following stages. a) To the reactor successively layer of solid carbonaceous material is loaded, the first layer of lime, layer of catalyst of vapor conversion of carbon monoxide, the second layer of lime. b) The solid carbonaceous material is brought into contact with overheated aqueous vapor and activated carbon and mixture of gases are produced. c) The produced by b) stage mixture is brought into contact with the first layer of lime and calcium carbonate and mixture of gases are produced. d) The mixture of gases produced by c) stage is brought into contact with catalyst of steam conversion of carbon monoxide and mixture of gases is produced. e) The mixture of gases produced by d) stage is brought into contact with the second layer of lime and calcium carbonate and gas are prepared. f) The gas, produced by e) stage is collected at the outlet of reactor, foreign matters and aqueous vapor is removed from it and hydrogen is prepared. |
