The present invention relates to liquid hard surface cleaning compositions and methods for cleaning hard surfaces. In particular, the invention relates to fizzing compositions. Accordingly, the present invention provides a liquid hard surface cleaning composition comprising: 0.2-10 % by weight of an anionic surfactant, selected from C-Calkyl sulphonates; 0.1-10 % by weight of a solvent; and 0.01 - 0.3 % by weight of a polymer. In this connection said hard surface cleaning compositions provide fizzing hard surface cleaning compostions.
