The invention relates to the branch of grain-size analysis, in particular to the processes of meter calibration and particle size analysis in the dry state and in suspension. The invention can be used for determination of particle size in laser diffraction-type analyzers. The problem on which decision the invention is directed, is a design of a principally new indicator that allows increasing precision of particle size measurements with stable measurement result in time. The indicator as a anisotropic material monolith with interior region of inhomogenuity formed by structural disruption of the material placed perpendicular to the monolith optical axis is proposed; where the indicator has a prism form, the opposite faces being optically coated and as anisotropic material is used the latter with spectron layer transmission capacity of 0,2 - 5,0. The indicator of new nature not requiring special conditions for conservation with severely constant calibrated amount and particle size in the volume is developed; providing increase size measurement accuracy in 1,5 – 2 –fold with measurement stability, the deviation is 1 – 2 % in dependence on indicator usage time. |
