PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for communicating with a terminal and a base station through a frame in a communication system including a repeater station are provide to determine timing for HARQ operation, by including an access zone and a relay zone in the frame. CONSTITUTION: A TDD(Time Division Duplex) includes a plurality of downlink sub frames and a plurality of uplink sub frames. At least one of a terminal and a base station communicates through the TDD frame. A first number of sub frames among the downlink sub frames and a second number of sub frames among the uplink sub frames are allocated in an access zone. A third number of sub frames among the downlink sub frames and a fourth number of sub frames among the uplink sub frames are allocated in a relay zone for the base station. The sub frames communicate with the terminal and the base station through the frame.
