PURPOSE: A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance an aperture ratio of a discharge cell by arranging address electrodes and scan electrodes in a direction crossing with sustain electrodes. CONSTITUTION: Sustain electrodes(47) are extended in one direction on a front substrate. Address electrodes(43) and scan electrodes are arranged with disparate gaps in a direction crossing with the sustain electrodes. The sustain electrodes and the scan electrodes are made of opaque conductive metal. The sustain electrodes and the scan electrodes are made of the same metal as the address electrodes. A partition wall(35) is arranged by a matrix type surrounding a discharge cell(31). |
