PURPOSE: An ecological slope construction method and a block for an ecological slope are provided to create an ecological environment while keeping a slope firm, without removing the existing concrete structure. CONSTITUTION: An ecological slope construction method is as follows. A foundation layer(800a) is formed and an adhesive(54) mainly composed of rubble or aggregate and polyurethane resin is spread on the upper side of the foundation layer. The adhesive is solidified to form a vegetation rootage layer(50) comprising porous rubble or aggregate. Soil is spread or vegetated on the upper side of the vegetation rootage layer.
