PURPOSE: A data transceiving apparatus and method in a wireless communication system are provided to recognize a transceiving direction with the index of a sub channel including an optimal channel environment. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit(211) receives a beacon packet from at least one of a plurality of base stations within a plurality of STA(STAtion) mobile networks. A search unit(212) refers to the index of a sub channel including an optimal channel status of sub channels. A calculation unit(213) increases a slot time corresponding to the index of the sub channel and a random time randomly created from the STA. A transmission unit(214) transmits a beacon response packet including the searched sub channel index information after a calculated final standby time.
