METHOD FOR COMPOSITING BACKGROUND OF PHOTOGRAPH

PURPOSE: A method for compositing the background of photographs is provided to enable the output or printing of the photographs in which the background of the photograph is changed and composed with various themes without special knowledge or training using an intuitive interactive interface. CONSTITUTION: An image used in the editing of photographs is obtained and displayed. A menu screen applying different colors to foreground and background regions is provided. The image is classified into foreground and background regions by performing alpha mat editing based on the applied colors. A menu screen selecting the theme is provided. The selected theme is composed into the background region.
