PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display and manufacturing method thereof are provided to effectively prevent static electricity by connecting a start point of a static pass of an upper plate and a lower plate and configuring electrostatic moving pass on the lower plate of a panel. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display device includes as follows. A gate line and a data line which are arranged crossly to each other and is formed on a thin film transistor array substrate. A thin film transistor is comprised of a source electrode and a drain electrode which is separated as much as a channel area of an active layer. A dummy pattern(103b) is formed on the dummy pattern unit of the thin film transistor array substrate. |
