PURPOSE: A dielectric material composition for a plasma display panel is provided to prevent heavy metal environmental contamination according to the discard of the plasma display panel and to minimize power consumption of the plasma display panel. CONSTITUTION: A dielectric material composition for a plasma display panel comprises 15~40wt% of B2O3, 3~15wt% of P2O5, 0.1~20wt% of BaO, 0.1~20wt% of CaO, and 10~40wt% of ZnO. The composition further includes 0.1~10wt% of one or more oxides selected from SiO2 and Al2O3. The composition further includes 0.1~10wt% of one or more oxides selected from CuO, CeO2, CoO, V2O5, La2O3 and Nd2O3. |
