PURPOSE: A high-speed image reproducing method using an Internet TV and an apparatus thereof are provided to implement the seamless X-speed rating reproduction of an image. CONSTITUTION: A high-speed image reproducing apparatus decodes a received image(404). The apparatus performs an error concealment process(405). The apparatus reproduces an image(406). If a received high-speed rating request signal is a reverse high-speed rating request signal, the apparatus accesses ROI(Region Of Interest) or a low-frequency image stored in a temporary storage space(408,410). The apparatus decodes the access image and reproduces the decoded image at high speed in a reverse direction(412).
