PURPOSE: A method, an apparatus, and a program product for providing path connection rapidity and information consentaneity in a multi-layer or multi-plane system are provided to easily offer one-click provision to the maximum with the cooperation of management plane and a control plane functions and the maintenance of management correlation information in a network connection setup. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for providing path connection rapidity and information consentaneity(100) receives the path setup request of an operator. The apparatus requests path computation to a path calculation function(110). On the basis of a TED(Traffic Engineering Database), the path calculator function calculates a path with of a plurality of layer modules. The path calculator function transfers the calculated path to a path setting module(170). The path setting module establishes a path with the layer module with the use of the calculated path.
