<p>The process involves moving a test-tube (1) in a polishing plane, which is corresponding to the test-tube face to be polished. A polishing head (10) is in contact with a surface to be polished during polishing cycle. An abrasive band (30) is moved on the polishing head, where a part of the abrasive band in contact with the test-tube is renewed by a part of another abrasive band so as to carry out homogeneous polishing of the test-tube. The former abrasive band is renewed in a continuous manner during the polishing cycle. An independent claim is also included for a polishing machine with abrasive band, comprising a plate.</p> |
