PURPOSE: A milling device is provided to produce chips of uniform thickness because cutting edges have different radial distances to a rotational axis line. CONSTITUTION: A milling device comprises a milling cutter body which is connected to a spindle or a holder and defines a rotational axis line(x-x). The milling cutter body is formed with one or more series of milling insert seats which are separated in the radial direction. The seats have one or more cutting edges(118,120) which are separated in the tangential direction and process the common surface on a work piece.
