PURPOSE: A video encoding/decoding method and apparatus are provided to manage adaptive interpolation filters and adaptive loop filters with a list. CONSTITUTION: A filter decision unit an adaptive filter corresponding to a present image(S310). A filter list controller compares the decided adaptive filter with one or more existing adaptive filters included in a filter manager(S320). The filter list controller decides whether to add the decided adaptive filter to the filter manager(S350). Using the adaptive filter included in the filter manager, the present image is encoded(S370).
