PURPOSE: A device for reinforcing the load bearing force of a bridge beam is provided to quickly regulate the tension of an external tendon in the event of drooping, crack, or damage of a bridge beam. CONSTITUTION: A device for reinforcing the load bearing force of a bridge beam comprises a fixing plate(210), a height adjusting part(220), a support plate, and a pressing part(230). The fixing plate is installed on the underside of a bridge beam. The height adjusting part comprises a top bracket installed on the underside of the fixing plate, a bottom bracket installed opposite to the top bracket, a pair of arms linked between the top and bottom brackets, and a screw shaft coupled to the arms to raise and lower the arms. The support plate is installed in the bottom bracket of the height adjusting part, where the lower central portion is removed. The pressing part is arranged in the center of the support plate and equipped with a roller for pressing an external tendon. |
