PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent the light form exposing to outside by changing a structure of an upper cover. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel(110) includes as follows. A liquid crystal panel is comprised of a liquid crystal layer which is formed between a first substrate and a second substrate. A substrate for a light source mounts a plurality of light source(134). A light guiding plate induces the light from the light source through a side surface by being arranged to a lower part of the liquid crystal panel.
