A TRIPLE DHCP SYSTEM AND DHCP MESSAGE PROCESSING METHOD

PURPOSE: A triple DHCP system and a DHCP message processing method are provided to offer a seamless service through a third server for the triplication of a DHCP server even in the failure of all dualized DHCP servers. CONSTITUTION: If dualized DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) servers receive the DHCP message of a user terminal, a DHCP management server confirms the virtual IP information of the DHCP server(505,506). In case the DHCP message is an IP assignment request, the DHCP management server assigns an IP with the use of a confirmed IP and IP pool setup information stored in a mapped directory(508). In case the DHCP message is an IP update request, the DHCP management server processes IP renewal with reference to IP rental information or an IP update request message field(509).
