PURPOSE: An in-plane switching liquid crystal display device is provided to display gradation by using the difference between pixel voltages in a DC voltage and a positive gradation curve. CONSTITUTION: In an in-plane switching liquid crystal display device, a direct current voltage(DC) is smaller than the minimum pixel voltage. The minimum pixel voltage is corresponded to the lowest gradation of the gradation curve(GC). A data drive receives a plurality of gamma reference voltages which are divided by internal resistance string. The pixel voltages having a plurality of gradations are generated. |
