PURPOSE: An inspection device for a liquid crystal display device is provided to improve the detection performance by rapidly detecting a rubbing fault of an alignment layer. CONSTITUTION: An inspection device for a liquid crystal display device comprises a liquid crystal display panel(100) including a first and a second substrate(102,106) and a liquid crystal layer(104) in the middle of the first and the second substrates, a first and a second alignment layer(103,105) formed on the lower part and the upper part of the liquid crystal layer, and a first and a second polarizing plate(101,107) formed on the outer surface of the first and the second substrates, a light source(160), and a detector(130) for sensing light which penetrates the liquid crystal layer and the second polarizing plate. |
