PROCESS FOR THE NITRATION FROM ALKANOL HAVING HIGH YIELD AND HIGH PURITY

PURPOSE: A process for the nitration of alkanol in high yield and high purity is provided to minimize the accumulation of by-products and products and to accelerate the conversion of unconverted residual alcohol. CONSTITUTION: A process for the nitration of alkanol in high yield and high purity comprises a step of performing the nitration of alkanol and nitric acid in the presence of sulfuric acids, stabilizers, and solvents. The reaction is performed in a temperature range of 35 - 50 °C for 100 - 150 minutes. 1.3 - 1.8 mol of nitric acids, 1.9 - 2.3 mol of sulfuric acids, 0.2 - 0.3 mol of stabilizers and 3.5 - 3.9 mol of solvents.
