PURPOSE: A data transceiving method and apparatus in a mobile communication system are provided to reduce load for the duplicate packet test of a PDCP layer by discriminating initial transmission and re-transmission in PDCP packet transmission. CONSTITUTION: In case transmission target data is not re-transmission target data, a transmission PDCP(Packet Data Convergence Protocol) establishes a D/C field to 1(501,507). The transmission PDCP performs a series of PDCP processing for the transmission target data(505). In case the transmission target data is the re-transmission target data, the transmission PDCP establishes the D/C field to 0(503). The transmission PDCP establishes a PDU(Protocol Data Unit) type to 010. The transmission PDCP performs a series of PDCP processing. |
