PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent the reduction of transmittance due to the reduction reaction of two electrodes in a manufacturing process that manufactures a pixel electrode and a reference electrode. CONSTITUTION: A gate electrode(124) is located on an insulating substrate. A semiconductor pattern is located on the gate electrode. A source electrode(173) is located on the semiconductor pattern and faces with a drain electrode(175) opposite to the source electrode. A first protective film is located on the pixel electrode.
