The present invention refers to an improved solar water heater where the capture of solar radiation along with the water tank are incorporated in a single containing element having a hollow cylindrical shape for allowing the solar radiation to be received in the outer surface and in the inner surface thereof. The surface for capturing the solar radiation has been improved by means of reflectors; the thermal accumulation ability has been improved by a phase exchange element. The purpose of the invention is to provide a novel type of solar water heater totally different from those currently available on the market since it has a novel inner and outer construction, which main advantage is that the design is simplified in a single element manufactured with affordable materials.
