PURPOSE: A communication system between UC platforms and a method thereof are provided to receive UC platform user and UC service of the other organization, by using existing UC platform client interface. CONSTITUTION: A UC platform user X of an organization A requests an instant messenger service, one of UC services(S100). The UC platform of the organization A checks X(S102). The requested UC service is provided through a UC service module(210). Presence information of Y is provided from a UC platform of an organization B through a virtual organization support module(220). Data transmission and receiving between the organization B and the organization A are relayed by a gateway(300).
