PURPOSE: An operating method and device of a server for an RFID reader and the operating method for the RFID are provided to provide the access method to a plurality of parameter values and the method for searching the index of the record row using one message and inserting/deleting the record row. CONSTITUTION: A mapping table(700) expresses the mapping relation between the object ID of the RFID(Radio Frequency ID) reader and OID(Object ID). A controller(720) inquires/sets up the RFID reader OID using the SNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol) and RM/RP(Reader Management/Reader Protocol) command. A transceiver(730) transmits the SNMP and RM/RP command. The mapping table is generated based on the MIB(Management Information Base) defined by the RM. The controller inquires/sets up the RFID reader OID using the SNMP command including the IOD.
