PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for rendering a semi-transmissive object are provided to decide the color of diffused light and perfume rendering. CONSTITUTION: A scattering model analysis unit(100) receives and analyzes a diffused model appointed by a user. The scattering model analysis unit creates a plurality of diffusion information. A data analysis unit(101) receives image data for image rendering. The data analysis unit extracts semi-transmissive object data and illumination data. A rendering unit(102) renders the semi-transmissive object.
