PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus and an image forming system are provided to reduce the generation of a down time when a control operation is executed. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(Central Processing Unit)(1) and a CPU(6) execute a control operation for the stabilization of the image quality of an output image. A first image forming unit and a second image forming unit execute a control operation at a predetermined timing. The image quality of an image outputted to a recording paper is stabilized by the control operation. The control timing of the first image forming unit and the control timing of the second image forming unit are in accord with each other with the correction of the control timing. |
