PURPOSE: A light emitting diode of a separated electrode structure is provided to reduce an etching part for contact with a first semiconductor layer, thereby minimizing the loss area of an active layer. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of first electrodes(320) contacts a first semiconductor layer through holes. A first protection film surrounds the circumference of the side of a first electrode to prevent the short-circuit between the first semiconductor layer and a second semiconductor layer. A second electrode(330) is formed on the second semiconductor layer from which the area with the first electrode is removed. A metal reflecting layer is formed on the second semiconductor layer from which the area with the first and second electrodes is removed.
