The assembly has a metal sheet i.e. bodywork component, comprising an assembling zone i.e. edge, fixed to an assembling zone i.e. edge, of another metal sheet (2) e.g. reinforcement. An insert (10) assures sealing in a zone that is extended between the metal sheets and is distinct from the assembling zones. An end (12b) of the insert is arranged between the assembling zones to assure fixation of a part of the insert, where the insert includes an expandable material (11) arranged on a support (12).
