PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily discover failure of blazing jointing at an emboss portion by a normal leak test. SOLUTION: A core 3 of an oil cooler is constituted by alternately laminating first plates 11 and second plates 12 and alternately forming, between the respective plates 11, 12, oil passages 13 in which oil flows and cooling water passages 14 in which cooling water flows. A plurality of embosses 15, 16 are swollen and formed on the respective plates 11, 12 to project toward the other adjacent plate sides. Through-holes 21, 22 are formed at the tip face 18 of each emboss 15, 16 jointed to a plane part 17 of the adjacent plate. When jointing failure occurs at the emboss portions, the oil passages 13 and the cooling water passages 14 are a short-circuited through the through-holes 21, 22, easy discovering the failure by the normal leak test.
