The present disclosure relates to a keyboard that supports multi-language input, and more particularly, to a keyboard that enables the input of characters or symbols in various languages by installing a language selection program linked to a computer operating system, configuring the keyboard with one flat panel display sheet arranged at the bottom thereof, and arranging the characters of a selected language on the flat panel display of the keyboard to make the characters discernible through transparent top portions of the keycaps. For this purpose, a keyboard capable of multi-language input according to the present disclosure has a flat panel display arranged at the bottom thereof, and a thin contact circuit board configured with an upper circuit layer, an insulation layer, and a lower circuit layer which are designed so as to circumvent the central portions of each keycap, in order to enable a user to discern characters arranged on the flat panel display of the keyboard. The insulation layer is perforated at all the positions corresponding to the left and right sides at the bottom of each keycap to form contact points, a rubber dome thin film is installed to position a rubber dome on each top portion at all the positions, and an upper case is provided having keys with keycap top plates, which are made of a transparent material and contact the fingers. In particular, if the height of the keycaps is pronounced, a plastic optical fiber bundle is tightly grouped in each square block on the flat panel display at the bottom of the keyboard and installed so as to extend as high as possible, such that light for the characters or symbols displayed through the keycaps is guided through the plastic optical fiber bundles, enabling a user to discern the characters or symbols through the transparent top portions of the keycaps. |
