PURPOSE: A power generation system using tidal currents is provided to consecutively produce electricity regardless of the flowing direction of tidal currents. CONSTITUTION: A power generation system using tidal currents comprises a buoyancy member(10), a rotary shaft(20), torque transfer shafts(30), rotary plates(40), and a generator. The buoyancy member is floated on the water. The rotary shaft is vertically positioned at the buoyancy member. One side of the rotary shaft is submerged in the water. The torque transfer shafts are vertically fixed to one side of the rotary shaft and transfer torque to the rotary shaft. The rotary plates are coupled to the torque transfer shafts. The generator produces electricity by receiving the torque from the rotary shaft.
