<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the scale of a system by achieving commonality of parts or circuits for constituting a light irradiation control system for vehicle lamps. <P>SOLUTION: This system includes a control unit which outputs control signals for controlling the light irradiation of lamps based on detection signals from sensors Sh, Sv, Sθ, Ss, and actuator units 5R, 5L, 6R, 6L for controlling the light irradiation of lamps RHL, LHL based on the control signals. The control unit is constituted of body-side control units 1-4 which output the data commonized by processing detection signals to a common bus BUS, and lamp-side control units 7, 8 which output control signals based on the data output to the common bus BUS.
