PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a self-configuring ad-hoc network by using WLAN technique and WWAN technique.

SOLUTION: In a network comprising a network management system 1218 and a plurality of WLAN nodes 1204, 1206 and 1208, the WLAN nodes 1204, 1206 and 1208 receive GPS coordinates from the WLAN node 1206 having a WWAN channel, create initial topographies on the basis of at least in part of the GPS coordinates to achieve network connectivities with diverse routes between the plurality of WLAN nodes 1204, 1206 and 1208, thereby configuring the ad-hoc network.
