<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the ozone concentration by the reaction of a metal contained in an adsorbent with ozone. <P>SOLUTION: Ozone gas as a raw material produced using a gas in which nitrogen gas is added in less than several percents to oxygen gas is introduced to a removal cylinder 8 packed with silica gel 7 as an adsorbent to make ozone saturation-adsorbed; thereafter, while nitrogen dioxide is being adsorbed and removed on silica gel, by allowing the ozone adsorbed on the silica gel surface to react with low-order nitrogen oxides, the nitrogen oxides are captured as nitrogen dioxide, which is more adsorptive. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
