PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fin material for heat exchange having both corrosion resistance and hydrophilicity and preventing an increase in ventilation resistance even in a heat exchanger having a small fin pitch. SOLUTION: The fin material for heat exchange includes: a fin body made of aluminum material; a corrosion resistant film in which plate-shaped inorganic particles having an average particle diameter from 1μm to 10μm are dispersed and arranged and which has a thickness from 0.3μm to 3μm; and a hydrophilic film formed on the corrosion resistant film.
