PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of an electric blower by reducing a fluid loss caused by a vortex and separation in a diffuser of an air guide. SOLUTION: The electric blower includes a stator 1; a rotor 2 supported inside the stator 1 rotatably around an output shaft 4; a bracket 3 supporting the stator 1 and the rotor 2 from the upper and lower sides; a rotary fan 5 mounted to the tip of the output shaft 4; an air guide disposed to partition the bracket 3 from the rotary fan 5; and a fan case 8 covering the rotary fan 5 and the air guide. The air guide includes a partition plate 6c partitioning the bracket 3 from the rotary fan 5; the diffuser 6a disposed on the outer peripheral side of the rotary fan; and a partition plate inclining part 6d inclined to the anti-inlet side corresponding to the bottom face of the diffuser 6a. The partition plate inclining part 6d of the diffuser 6a is formed in projecting shape onto the air inlet side to suppress turbulent flow. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
