PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure of a fluid machine which can suppress occurrence of a cavitation due to a leakage flow in the seal structure between a rotation part and a stationary part, and a fluid machine. SOLUTION: A seal structure 30 of a water turbine 10 keeps a seal part 31 formed of an annular fine gap and an annular gap 33 bent at a right angle form an outlet 32 of the seal part 31 to communicate to a main flow path forcing a main flow to flow therethrough between a rotation part equipped with a plurality of runner blades 13 and a runner band 15 provided at one ends of the runner blades 13 over a circumferential direction and a fixed part provided so as to surround the runner band 15. An annular groove 40 is formed in a surface 22a side of a seal liner 22 facing the outlet 32 of the seal part 31 over a circumferential direction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
